Marble round pedestal dining table measuring 60 inches in diameter by 29 inches high. This rare inlaid marble table was made to order in Agra, India, in 2001. It has over 6000 pieces of blue and brown lapis, green malachite, and honey agate set into the surface. The table base can be uplit from inside to illuminate the design. The table is in perfect condition and easily seats 8. The artisans commissioned to create it worked on it for 18 months. They are the finest stone carvers in India, from the same firm responsible for repairing the marble work on the Taj Mahal. This exquisite, dramatic table would be stunning on a sheltered veranda or atrium, as well as in a fine interior. It is truly One of a Kind.
